The next generation of Office suite from Microsoft has been available for testing on Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines. Office 2013, designed for keyboard, pen and touch, packs-in powerful new versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher, Access, and OneNote programs.

That is, Office 2013 works fine alongside your existing Office 2003, Office 2007 and Office 2010 installations. You just need to have a minimum of 3.5 GB of free disk space for the installation.
While most users are quite happy and impressed with the new look and features, a small number of users aren’t exactly happy with the Metro-inspired white user interface. As we all know, Office 2013 is still in pre-release stage and the Office team has been working hard to add new features and improve the user interface. How to uninstall Office 2013 Customer Preview:
Step 1: Before you uninstall Office suite from your PC, you need to deactivate Office. If you are using Office 365 Home Premium, visit http://www.office.com/myaccount page and sign in with your account details. On the My Account page, click on Deactivate to deactivate your Office. And if you are running an edition other than Home Premium, visit www.office365.com to deactivate.
Deactivating Office leaves the Office programs in read-only mode, which means that you can view documents but can’t create and save new documents.
Step 2: After deactivating Office, open Programs and Features by typing appwiz.cpl in Run dialog (press Windows + R hotkey to launch Run dialog) and pressing enter key.
Step 3: Right-click on Office 365, and then click Uninstall option. A small confirmation dialog will appear. Click Uninstall button to start uninstalling the Office suite. Once done, you will see “Done uninstalling” message.
