Earlier today, Microsoft rolled out the first major update, also known as feature update, to Windows 10. The new update to Windows 10 brings new features and improvements to the latest version of the Windows operating system, which is now running on over 115 million computers.
Right from the moment, Microsoft pushed out the update via Windows Update service. Tens of millions of users have been checking the Windows Update section of the Settings app if the update is available for them. Because over 115 million PCs are running Windows 10, it’s not possible for Microsoft to deliver to the update to all the PCs in a couple of hours.
That said, if you can’t see the November Update under Windows Update section of the Settings app and you want to get the big update right away without waiting further, you can follow the given below directions to install Windows 10 November Update right away.

Get the November Update for Windows 10 right away
WARNING 1: If it’s been less than 31 days since you upgraded your Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 installation to Windows 10, you might not be able to roll back to the previous Windows version once you install the November Update. So if you are considering rolling back, please don’t install this update.
WARNING 2: Although the below mentioned is working great and is advised by Microsoft as well, please install the update at your own risk. Like any other update for Windows, this update also might fail in the middle, and your PC might go unbootable (chances are unlikely though).
You can install the November Update without any data or apps loss. Your Windows 10 settings and settings of other installed programs will be intact. Be sure to follow the directions, as mentioned below, without any deviations.
Step 1: Download Windows 10 Media Creation Tool, and run it (double-click on the file to run it) on your Windows 10 PC where you want to install November Update.
Make sure that you have at least 5GB of free space on the drive where Windows 10 is installed.
Step 2: When you see the following screen, select Upgrade this PC now option and then click the Next button to download Windows 10 installation files.
Step 3: Once the installation files are downloaded on to your PC, you will see the License terms screen where you need to click the Accept button to continue.
Step 4: Next, the Media Creation Tool will check if there are new updates available and will automatically download available updates.
Step 5: Finally, you will see Ready to install screen. BEFORE clicking the Install button, make sure that Keep personal files and apps option is selected to avoid any data or apps loss.
Once you click the Install button, you will see the following Installing Windows 10 screen. Your PC will restart a couple of times. Sit back and watch the progress with patience!
You can choose what to keep by clicking “Change what to keep “link and then selecting an appropriate option. Finally, click the Install button to begin the upgrade. Once done, your Windows 10 PC should have the November Updates.
