How To Watch Twitch On Roku?

Since Twitch is not available on Roku Channel Store, so you have to download and install the unofficial Twitch app Roku from third-party sources.

Step 1- Open the browser on your PC or mobile and visit

Step 2- Proceed with your login credentials and head toward the three-lined icon on the top-right corner of your screen. From the drop-down menu, you have to click on the down-arrow of the first option.  Hit on My account >  Add channel with a code.   

Step 3- In the Channel access code bar, type TwitchTV and proceed by clicking the Add channel button.

Step 4- You might be prompted with a warning saying that the channel you’re trying to add is not certified. But you can click OK to move ahead.

Step 5-  On the next screen, click on Yes, add a channel button to confirm that you want to add Twitch to Roku.

Step 6- As soon as you click the Yes button, a confirmation screen will be presented to you that the channel is added successfully.

You can launch the Roku device and observe the Twitch app on the Roku section.

How To Watch Twitch On Roku Using Third-Party Tool?

You need to install the third-party app Twitched to add Twitch on your Roku device.  The app is available in two versions for installing: Twitched Zero & Twitched.

First, one is free to download but shows ads before each stream, and the latter one costs around $1 but would be free of commercials. Since the official Twitch app was pulled off, you have to add the third-party tool:

Step 1- Open your Roku.

Step 2- On the main display, you’ll see different options, including My Feed, Search, News, Channel Store, Settings, etc.

Step 3- Choose Channel Store option > Add channel > enter your PIN > click OK and proceed.

Step 4- You are required to be a registered Twitch account holder to proceed with the following steps. If you are: Open the unofficial Twitch app from Roku and go to Settings.

Step 5- Log into your account and in the Windows Link your Twitch account, you’ll get a channel code on your screen. Go to Twitched official website from your PC or mobile & enter the shown code.

Once you get the confirmation pop-up, you can enjoy Twitch on Roku.

Note: Unofficial Roku channels can lose support at any moment. If certain channels don’t get updated for a longer time, they might also stop working!
