Step 1: Navigate around your Android smart TV home screen using the Askey remote and click the “Settings cog” at the top right of the screen.
Step 2: From the list that shows up, click “Device Preferences” > “About.”
Step 3: Scroll down to the “Android TV OS Build” option. Click on it 7-8 times using the remote, and you will see a prompt reading, “You are now a developer.”
Step 4: Go back to the “Device Preferences” screen and scroll down to the “Developer Options” menu.
Step 5: Scroll down to the option named “OEM Unlocking.” Toggle it ON and then accept any warnings that show up.
Step 6: Scroll further down to “Debugging” > “USB Debugging.” Toggle it on and accept any warnings that pop up on your smart TV screen.
